Carousoleil is the second track on With Baited Breath leaving you no time to recover from the first. Thanks to it’s intense guitar and fast tempo.
Musically, we leaned into that idea of movement. The rhythm has this looping feel, almost hypnotic, like you’re stuck watching something go around and around but still can’t look away.
Kicked my ass again!!! “Carousoleil” is a serious pummeling rocker with relentless turbocharged guitar work, tight dizzying bass, steamroller drums, fronted by a hard ass vocal lament. Feels like you had Barnum and Bailey dropped on your head.

Lyrics:
Life is a notion that is
Nestled in our brains
Trying to make something of it
Before it starts to rain
The man of habit is a 4X4
Ugly sore
You’re caught in the pit of a
Peach of the whore
Watching the dying clown
Falling from the carousel
Still mocking the things he’d like to have
With his last breath
Fantasies reside in the light
In the light in your eye
They love you, they want you
They want to feel you inside
Finding with age the blank charade
Works on nobody else but you
Ever sedating the chilling degrading hole
That’s torn right through
Watching the dying clown
Laying still on the cold hard ground
The mist now whispering in his ear
Things that you don’t want to hear
