While most Canadians were celebrating this past long weekend, my family and I were mourning. My grandfather succumbed to cancer on Friday—he was 77 and much too young—and we spent most of the weekend in and out of the funeral home, church and cemetery.
For us, it was indeed a long weekend.
I welcome the relaxed atmosphere of work Tomorrow.
