Let them remember,
Lest they forget,
That the blood of the nations,
Stains their hands with regret.
Let the truth be their burden,
Let the forgotten be found,
Let them shoulder their penance,
As it’s dug from the ground.
Let them know what they’ve done,
So all may be clear,
By those who have come,
To those who are here.
Let it serve a reminder,
Let their hearts be beset,
And let them remember,
Lest they forget.
