Episode 7, Season 5: Tech Fuel, Toronto, Ontario

This week Al is in downtown Toronto to meet with Robert Thompson, owner of Tech Fuel Inc. After years of working in IT in various large Canadian corporations, Robert decided to make a go of it on his own. He started Tech Fuel to provide managed IT services to smaller businesses who couldn’t afford their own IT departments.

Those services have since expanded and so has Robert’s client list and team. But it wasn’t always smooth sailing. Robert knew IT, but he was new to sales. He had to learn on the job or lose his business. It’s a story familiar to most entrepreneurs. This is Robert’s story.
