Last year around this time we were treated to an adventure of a lifetime. Our podcast The Produce Stand, along with a group of our listeners from all over North America were invited up to Sudbury to tour the city and be extras on season 2 of Shoresy. We referred to that group as the #BlueberryCrew. Named after the fictional hockey team on Shoresy the Blueberry Bulldogs.
Shout-out to the #BlueberryCrew: Adrian (Maine), Awesome (California), Erin (Illinois), Joey (Colorado), Joshua (Pennsylvania), Kacey (Virginia), Michèle (Ontario), Robby (Idaho), and of course, Tanya, Mat, Victor and myself.
It was a surreal experience that seemed like a dream…only it wasn’t and there is video proof! The entire time we were there, we were being followed and interviewed by a videographer (Ryan) and a producer (Christine). It wasn’t quite clear how they were going to use the footage, only that it was going to be used to promote tourism in Sudbury. We didn’t care, we were having a blast!
Over the past year we’ve inquired numerous times about the footage from our trip and never really got a straight answer. We didn’t care how they used it, but if they—for some reason—weren’t going to use it, we were hoping to get some of that footage because we wanted a memento of the experience. Yesterday a new Youtube channel called Discover Sudbury dropped the following teaser:

A “5-part journey”! All the members of the #BlueberryCrew are ecstatic that this is finally being released! It’s bringing back all the fond memories of that time and we can’t wait to watch it along with everyone else!
