I was recently invited to be a guest on ‘In & Around Podcasting‘ by Danny Brown. Danny is host of ‘One Minute Podcast Tips‘ and ‘5 Random Questions‘ among others. I’m a subscriber to ‘One Minute Podcast Tips’, it’s a great podcast, and I follow Danny on social media. We’ve interacted a few times online, but we hadn’t met personally. I was flattered that he would invite me on his podcast as an ‘expert’ on podcasting.
The topic was whether podcasting was in a slump. This was in response to recent data from The Podcast Index showing that over the last 30 days there has been a 6.2% decline in active podcasts. I was on with Bryan Entzminger, cohost of Podcast Editors Mastermind to talk about it.
