Last night the TPS crew got together to break bread and to see some comedy courtesy of Comedy Records and K Trevor Wilson and his friends!
We started the night off in my old hood of Portugal Village in Toronto for some great Thai food at Thairoom on College Street. We let Victor order and he didn’t let us down. I’m not the biggest lover of Thai food—I’m just not a fan of peanut sauce—but I will admit, it was a yummy meal! I would definitely do that again!

Once our bellies were full, we headed west a few blocks along College St. into Little Italy. We arrived at our final destination, The Royal Theatre, a updated old-fashioned art-deco theatre. The perfect venue for this kind of show. I’d actually been here before almost 20 years prior to see an old friend’s movie premier. But tonight we were here for comedy, and that’s exactly what we got!

We were treated to over 2 hours of great stand-up comedy including Keith Pedro, Nitish Sakhuja, Nick Reynoldson, Courtney Gilmour, and of course The Man Mountain of Comedy himself K Trevor Wilson.
It was a great show, K Trevor opened and closed the night and he didn’t disappoint. The only way you might have been disappointed with the evening is if you were going for Letterkenny content. There was none of that. There were a couple of allusions to his time on the show, but for the most part it was all about K Trevor, and it was great.
If you ever get a chance to see him perform, I highly recommend it!
