This wasn’t the first Crowded House song I considered covering. There are others that would be more obvious picks, but in the spirit of picking songs that will hopefully remind people of a song or band that perhaps they had forgotten, I thought I’d do this one first.
I’ll probably cover other Crowded House in the future (depending on how long this pandemic goes). I consider them the Australian version of Blue Rodeo. They wrote and recorded great songs, but I feel that overall they were underrated as a band.
Having said that, please enjoy my cover of ‘Something So Strong’.
